Jurnal Prima Medika Sains is a scientific journal published and managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat—LPPM), Universitas Prima Indonesia. The journal reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), particularly research, scientific publication, and the dissemination of scholarly knowledge in the fields of Public Health, Clinical Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.

Ownership and Publisher

Jurnal Prima Medika Sains is owned, published, and managed by LPPM Universitas Prima Indonesia. The institution provides the organizational framework and administrative support necessary for the journal’s sustainable operation and the dissemination of scientific research.

Journal Management Structure

The journal operates under an editorial management structure responsible for the scholarly publishing process, including manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, peer review, editing, and publication. The structure comprises the Editor-in-Chief, editorial board members, peer reviewers, language editors, layout editors, and technical support personnel, according to the journal’s organizational needs and policies.

Each role contributes to maintaining the quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the journal’s published content.

Editorial Independence

Jurnal Prima Medika Sains upholds the principles of editorial independence, professionalism, transparency, accountability, and academic integrity. Decisions regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection are based on scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, peer-review recommendations, and compliance with publication ethics.

Although the journal is owned and managed by LPPM Universitas Prima Indonesia, editorial decisions are made independently on academic grounds. The journal’s ownership and institutional affiliation do not override the editorial team’s responsibility to evaluate manuscripts objectively and consistently.

Editorial decisions must not be subject to undue influence from the publisher, institutional management, authors, sponsors, or other parties with competing interests.
