All submissions must demonstrate scientific rigor, appropriate research methods, reliable findings, and meaningful contributions to health and medical sciences.
Authors are required to select the manuscript type that best represents the content, methodology, and purpose of their submissions.
1. Original Research Article
An Original Research Article presents new scientific findings obtained through systematic investigation, including field research, laboratory studies, clinical investigations, epidemiological studies, surveys, experiments, or other appropriate research methods.
Relevant topics include disease prevention and control, public health interventions, clinical diagnosis and treatment, tropical diseases, biomedical investigations, dental health, pharmaceutical research, drug development, and other subjects within the journal’s scope.
The manuscript should clearly present the research background, problem statement, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions. Research findings must be supported by appropriate data analysis, relevant scientific literature, and sound methodological procedures.
Research involving human participants, identifiable personal data, or animals must comply with applicable research ethics requirements.
2. Review Article
A Review Article provides a critical and structured synthesis of existing scientific literature on a specific topic in health and medical sciences.
The manuscript should evaluate relevant studies, compare findings, identify research gaps, discuss advances in scientific knowledge, and highlight implications for clinical practice, public health policy, healthcare services, or future research.
Systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and other rigorous literature review approaches may be considered, provided that the review methodology is clearly described and appropriate to the research objectives.
3. Methodological or Technical Article
A Methodological or Technical Article introduces, develops, refines, or evaluates research methods, diagnostic techniques, laboratory procedures, analytical models, measurement instruments, or technical approaches relevant to health and medical sciences.
Examples include the development or validation of diagnostic instruments, laboratory testing methods, clinical assessment tools, epidemiological models, biomedical analysis techniques, and pharmaceutical evaluation methods.
The manuscript must provide sufficient methodological detail to enable critical assessment and, where applicable, replication. The effectiveness, reliability, validity, or practical utility of the proposed method should be demonstrated through appropriate testing or evaluation.
4. Clinical, Public Health, or Case Study Article
A Clinical, Public Health, or Case Study Article presents a detailed investigation of a clinical case, public health problem, healthcare intervention, disease pattern, or specific health-related situation.
Relevant submissions may include clinical case reports, public health program evaluations, epidemiological investigations, healthcare service assessments, and other case-based studies that provide meaningful scientific or practical insights.
The manuscript should describe the case or research context, assessment procedures, findings, discussion, and implications. Clinical case reports must demonstrate educational or scientific value and comply with applicable patient consent, confidentiality, and ethical requirements.
5. Short Communication
A Short Communication presents concise but significant scientific findings, preliminary research results, focused analyses, methodological observations, or emerging developments relevant to public health and medical sciences.
Although shorter than a full-length research article, the manuscript must provide sufficient supporting evidence, appropriate methodological information, and a clear scientific contribution.
Submissions may address emerging health concerns, preliminary laboratory findings, focused clinical observations, new epidemiological evidence, or other relevant developments within the journal’s scope.
