Di zaman teknologi ini, masih banyak pemanfaatan teknologi yang tidak maksimal, misalnya pada bidang pengelolahan data, banyak perusahaan besar yang memiliki permasalahan pada bidang ini. PT. Tata Warna Cipta Perkasa merupakan perusahaan berada di kota medan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan bahan bangunan berupa baja ringan seperti rangka baja ringan, reng, dan gypsum. PT. Tata Warna Cipta Perkasa memiliki permasalahan pada pengolahan data stock barang. Permasalahan ini mengakibatkan penumpukan stock barang, tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan konsumen, dan tidak adanya data yang jelas tentang stock barang.
