Correction and Retraction Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Industri Prima (JURITI PRIMA), published and managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat – LPPM), Universitas Prima Indonesia, is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal follows established publication ethics principles in handling corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions of published articles.

1. Correction Policy

JURITI PRIMA may publish a correction when an error is identified in a published article that affects its accuracy, clarity, or completeness but does not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions of the research.

Corrections may address errors in author names, affiliations, references, figures, tables, data presentation, or other parts of the article. Requests for corrections may be submitted by authors, readers, editors, or other relevant parties through the journal's official email address: juriti@unprimdn.ac.id.

All correction requests will be assessed by the editorial team. If a correction is considered necessary, the journal will publish a correction notice describing the error and the changes made. The original article will remain available, with an appropriate link to the correction notice, to preserve the transparency and traceability of the publication record.

2. Retraction Policy

Retraction may be considered when a published article contains serious errors or evidence of research or publication misconduct that undermines the reliability, validity, or integrity of its findings.

Grounds for retraction may include, but are not limited to:

  • Fabrication or falsification of research data.

  • Plagiarism or substantial unattributed use of others' work.

  • Duplicate or redundant publication.

  • Serious methodological or analytical errors that invalidate the main findings or conclusions.

  • Improper authorship or other significant violations of publication ethics.

  • Unethical research practices or other circumstances that seriously compromise the integrity of the article.

Retraction may be initiated by the authors, the editorial team, the publisher, or other relevant parties who provide credible evidence of a concern. All allegations will be assessed carefully, fairly, and objectively before a decision is made.

Where necessary, the editorial team may request explanations from the authors, consult independent experts, or contact the relevant research institution to establish the facts. Authors will normally be given an opportunity to respond to the concerns raised.

If retraction is warranted, JURITI PRIMA will publish a retraction notice explaining the reasons for the decision. The notice will be linked to the original article, which will remain accessible where appropriate and clearly marked as retracted to ensure that readers are aware of its status. The journal will not remove a retracted article from the scholarly record except where removal is required by applicable law or exceptional circumstances.

3. Expression of Concern

If serious concerns arise regarding a published article but the available evidence is insufficient to reach a final decision, JURITI PRIMA may publish an expression of concern. This notice informs readers that the article is under investigation or that unresolved issues may affect its reliability.

The expression of concern may be updated or followed by a correction, retraction, or other appropriate editorial action once sufficient information becomes available.

4. Editorial Responsibility

The editorial team of JURITI PRIMA is responsible for evaluating correction and retraction requests and determining the appropriate action based on the evidence, the seriousness of the issue, and established publication ethics standards.

All cases will be handled with due consideration for fairness, confidentiality, transparency, and the rights of the parties involved. Editorial decisions will be based on the integrity of the scholarly record rather than commercial, institutional, or personal interests.

5. Contact Information
