Authorship Criteria
Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Industri Prima (JURITI PRIMA) is published and managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat – LPPM), Universitas Prima Indonesia. The journal upholds the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices in determining authorship of scientific articles.
All individuals listed as authors in a submitted manuscript must have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and the preparation of the article. Authorship should be based on the following criteria:
-
Substantial Contribution: Authors must have made significant contributions to the conception or design of the study, the development of research methods, data collection, data analysis, or the interpretation of research findings.
-
Writing and Critical Revision: Authors must have participated in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
-
Final Approval: All authors must review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and publication.
-
Accountability: All authors must agree to be accountable for their respective contributions and cooperate in ensuring that any questions concerning the accuracy, integrity, or ethical conduct of the research are appropriately addressed.
Individuals who have contributed to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria, such as those providing administrative support, technical assistance, funding, or research facilities alone, should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section rather than listed as authors.
The designated corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editorial team of JURITI PRIMA throughout the submission, peer-review, revision, and publication processes. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the manuscript, the authorship order, and the submission of the article to the journal.
Any addition, removal, or change in the order of authors after manuscript submission must be supported by a clear justification and the agreement of all authors concerned. Such changes are subject to the approval of the journal's editor in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.
JURITI PRIMA does not permit gift authorship, guest authorship, or ghost authorship. Authorship must accurately reflect each individual's actual contribution to the research and manuscript. All authors are expected to adhere to recognized standards of research integrity and publication ethics.
By submitting a manuscript to JURITI PRIMA, authors confirm that the authorship information provided is accurate, that all listed authors meet the stated criteria, and that all authors have agreed to the submission and publication of the manuscript.
