This study aims to see the relationship between the quality of work life and employee commitment at PT. INALUM (Persero), a quantitative research method, which is a research method that aims to see the relationship between one variable and another variable, the number of sample in this study is 56 people. This research proposes the following hypothesis: there is a relationship between the quality of work life and the quality of employees with the assumption that the higher the quality of work life, the higher the commitment of employees. This study uses a scale of quality of work life which consists of 6 aspects, namely: compensation, working conditions, opportunities for development, work health insurance, no suspicion of employees, employee rights. And employee commitment which consists of 3 aspects, namely: identification, involvement, loyalty. The factors which have not been examined are: personal characteristics, job characteristics, roles in the organization. In proving the above hypothesis, the Product Moment analysis method is used, where the independent variable is the quality of work life and the dependent variable is organizational commitment. Based on the results of the analysis with the product moment correlation technique, it is known that: 1) there is a positive relationship between the quality of work life and employee commitment, where the correlation coefficient obtained is rxy = 0.522; p = 0.00 <0.050. This means that the higher the quality of work life, the higher the commitment of employees; therefore, the hypothesis proposed in the study is accepted. 2) this study gave significant results in the significance level of 0.050, with the accepted coefficient (r2) = 0, 273 and the BE was (27.3). 3) in general, the results of the study on the employees of PT INALUM located in Kuala Tanjung, Kec. Sei Suka, Kab. Batu Bara, North Sumatra show that they have a high quality of work life, because its empirical mean value (238.20) is greater than its hypothetical mean value (197.5). In addition, the organizational commitment is also stated in a high level where the mean empirical value (119.59) is greater than the hypothetical mean value (95)
