Peer Reviwer
Peer Review Process
To maintain the integrity, quality, and objectivity of publications in informatics and computer systems, Jurnal Jusikom adopts a Double-Blind Peer Review mechanism. Through this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain mutually anonymous throughout the evaluation process.
Review Workflow & Stages
- Desk Review (Initial Screening): The Editor conducts an initial evaluation to ensure alignment with the journal's focus and scope, formatting compliance, and a similarity check via Turnitin (maximum allowance of 20%).
- Independent Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two expert reviewers for an independent evaluation within two to four weeks.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the Editorial Board determines the final status of the manuscript as follows:
- Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication.
- Revisions Required: The manuscript requires author revisions before re-evaluation.
- Decline: The manuscript is rejected for publication.
Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation focuses on the following key aspects:
- Novelty: Originality and significance of the research ideas.
- Methodology & Algorithms: Accuracy and appropriateness of the proposed methods or algorithms.
- Depth of Analysis: Thoroughness and validity of the result analysis.
- Currency of References: Up-to-date and relevant literature citations.
Confidentiality & Ethical Guarantee
The Editorial Board guarantees the confidentiality of all processed manuscripts. Reviewers are strictly prohibited from disseminating, duplicating, or utilizing the content of the article without written permission from both the Authors and the Editorial Board.
