Abstract

In the Covid-19 pandemic situation, Indonesia must take a stance to suppress the spread of this virus. The spread of Covid-19 has the potential to cause a health emergency, so to prevent the spread of the impact of this virus one of which is quarantine measures. For this reason, it is necessary to study the criteria for criminal acts which are categorized as quarantine crimes, how is the application of criminal law related to quarantine crime violations during the Covid-19 pandemic and what are the judges' considerations in deciding case No. 173/Pid.Sus/2021/PT/DKI regarding violations of quarantine crimes during a pandemic.
