Abstract

Employees help to improve and enhance the performance of the institution. Therefore, employee
performance must be considered when they work. Therefore, this study will investigate the
relationship between Job Satisfaction and Soft Skills with Civil Servant Empowerment in North
Padang Lawas Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with 150 samples. The results of
the study indicate that soft skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance,
and employee empowerment also has a significant effect on employee performance. In addition,
job satisfaction can be mediated by soft skills and employee empowerment on employee
performance.
