Correction and Retraction Policy

Jurnal Ekonomi Bisnis Manajemen Prima is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record in the fields of economics, business, and management. When errors or ethical violations are identified in published articles, the journal will address them according to their nature, severity, and impact on the validity of the research findings.

The journal applies the following procedures:

1. Corrections (Erratum/Corrigendum)

Corrections are issued to address minor, unintentional errors, such as typographical mistakes, errors in author names, or misprinted formulas, that do not compromise the overall validity of the scientific findings. Corrections will include an explanation identifying the amended content to ensure that readers have access to accurate information.

2. Retractions

Retractions are issued when serious violations of research integrity are identified, including data fabrication or manipulation, extensive plagiarism, or other issues that render the research findings unreliable or invalid.

Retraction procedures are conducted with reference to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) retraction guidelines, taking into account the available evidence and the results of the editorial investigation.

Retracted articles will remain publicly accessible to preserve transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record. The article will be clearly marked with a “RETRACTED” watermark and accompanied by an official retraction notice explaining the reasons for the retraction.

Through this policy, Jurnal Ekonomi Bisnis Manajemen Prima seeks to ensure that all corrections and retractions are handled responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with scholarly publication ethics.
