Authorship Criteria
Jurnal Ekonomi Bisnis Manajemen Prima applies strict authorship criteria to maintain the integrity, transparency, and accountability of scholarly publications in the fields of economics, business, and management. Authorship is determined by substantial contributions to the research and manuscript preparation, rather than merely by administrative involvement, professional position, or financial support.
Minimum Requirements
Every individual listed as an author must meet all four of the following criteria:
-
Substantial Contribution: Make a significant contribution to the conception or design of the research, data acquisition, or the analysis and interpretation of data.
-
Manuscript Preparation: Actively participate in drafting the article or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
-
Final Approval: Approve the final version of the manuscript to be published.
-
Accountability: Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the manuscript and ensure that questions relating to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
Important Note: Individuals who provide only financial support, perform basic data collection without intellectual contributions to the analysis, provide facilities, or undertake general language or grammatical editing do not qualify for authorship. Such contributions may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section.
Responsibilities of the Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for communication between the journal and all co-authors during manuscript submission, peer review, and after publication.
The corresponding author is responsible for:
-
Ensuring that all listed authors meet the four authorship criteria established by the journal.
-
Ensuring that no individual who qualifies for authorship is omitted (ghost authorship) and that no individual is listed without qualifying contributions (gift authorship or guest authorship).
-
Ensuring that all authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission to Jurnal Ekonomi Bisnis Manajemen Prima.
Through this policy, Jurnal Ekonomi Bisnis Manajemen Prima is committed to ensuring that authorship is assigned fairly, transparently, and accountably in accordance with scholarly publication ethics.
