Authorship Criteria

Jurnal Akuntansi Prima (JAPRI) recognizes authorship as an important contribution to the integrity, transparency, and accountability of scholarly publications. All individuals listed as authors must have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript.

To qualify for authorship, contributors must meet the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contribution: Authors must have made significant contributions to the conception or design of the research, data collection, data analysis, data interpretation, or the development of the research methodology.

  2. Manuscript Preparation: Authors must have participated in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.

  3. Final Approval: All authors must review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission or publication.

  4. Accountability: All authors must agree to be accountable for their contributions and ensure that questions concerning the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

  5. Corresponding Author: One author must be designated as the corresponding author and is responsible for communication with the editorial office throughout the submission, peer-review, revision, and publication processes.

  6. Author Order: The order of authors should reflect their relative contributions to the research and manuscript, as mutually agreed upon by all authors before submission.

  7. Changes in Authorship: Any addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors after manuscript submission must be justified in writing and approved by all authors involved, including those being added or removed, subject to the approval of the journal's editorial team.

  8. Non-Author Contributions: Individuals who have provided technical assistance, administrative support, funding, or other contributions that do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately in the Acknowledgments section, with their consent.

  9. Prevention of Unethical Authorship: Gift authorship, guest authorship, ghost authorship, and any other form of inappropriate authorship are not permitted. All authors must have made genuine contributions to the research and manuscript.

Jurnal Akuntansi Prima reserves the right to request clarification or supporting information regarding authorship and contributions when necessary. Any suspected violation of authorship ethics will be handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies and relevant scholarly publishing standards.

By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Akuntansi Prima, the corresponding author confirms that all listed authors meet the journal's authorship criteria and have approved the submitted version of the manuscript.
