Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
After submitting the manuscript, the Agroprimatech editor will review the beginning of the manuscript. The editor will decide whether the manuscript fits the focus and scope and is appropriate for submission to reviewers. The editor also checks the manuscript for high plagiarism or not. Editors can make revisions before submitting manuscripts to reviewers. This initial review usually takes one week.
Manuscripts that have passed the initial review will then be forwarded to the section editor and the section editor assigns one reviewer using the method (double-blind peer review).
There are five possible editorial and reviewer decisions
- Manuscript accepted
- Manuscripts are revised or corrected
- Manuscript re-sent
- Manuscripts should be sent to other publishers
- Manuscript rejected
- Usually it takes about 6-8 weeks to send the results to the first editor.
The time to reach a final decision depends on the number of rounds or whether the manuscript is revised or accepted. It usually takes 4 to 5 months for a final decision before issuance.
