Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood, marked by physical, hormonal, and emotional changes. Adolescents' intense curiosity, particularly regarding sexuality and reproductive health, can lead to risky sexual behavior if not accompanied by adequate knowledge. Lack of knowledge about reproductive health can increase the risk of teenage pregnancy, which can impact the health of both mother and baby. This literature review aims to determine the factors that influence adolescent knowledge about pregnancy during adolescence. The method used was a literature review, searching for articles in the PubMed and Google Scholar databases using the keywords knowledge, teenage pregnancy, adolescents, and reproductive health. Sixteen articles were obtained, consisting of eight national and eight international articles, which were then analyzed according to the research objectives. The results of the study show that adolescents' knowledge about pregnancy is influenced by several factors, namely education, information sources, family, peers, and social environment. Adolescents' knowledge about pregnancy is influenced by various internal and external factors, so it is necessary to increase reproductive health education and the role of the family and environment in providing accurate information to adolescents
