Abstract

Education for Alzheimer's patients and their families or caregivers to make lifestyle modifications through regular physical activity, reducing alcohol consumption, cognitive stimulation, maintaining good nutrition, and reminding them of the importance of socializing. Families or caregivers must also be involved in therapy and need to be given support because one day the Alzheimer's patient will fully depend on them. Family education to help patients schedule routine activities and encourage patients to follow the schedule that has been made. Alzheimer's patients can discuss with their families about their wishes and limits if they later reach a condition where they are unable to make their own decisions. The method used in activities goes through a series of stages, including training and mentoring. The community was formed through a number of activities, namely: coordinating with RT administrators, hamlets, and community leaders providing training services on Alzheimer's dementia patients, giving rewards to the community, giving door prizes after training activities, giving rewards to cadres. Results achieved after participating in training by the community in Paluh Sibaji Village
