MELAKSANAKAN PENYULUHAN PENCEGAHAN DEMENSIA/ALZHEIMER DI KELURAHAN TANJUNG GUSTA

Abstract

The Community Service Activity (PKM) carried out by the writing team is DEMENTIA prevention training for the elderly in Tanjung Gusta Village. This is important to do to provide real assistance to create a dementia-friendly Indonesia, through one of the components of the human resource capacity development and capacity building program that is in line with the ALZI program, namely education. Therefore, this PKM activity was packaged by conducting training in the framework of socializing prevention of dementia in the elderly in Tanjung Gusta Village. This PKM activity has the following benefits and objectives: Increasing knowledge about dementia  Increasing knowledge about prevention and risk reduction efforts that can be shared with all levels of society in their respective regions. As a place to apply Nursing knowledge in the context of Nursing Care in the community. A forum for academics and students of health institutions to participate in improving the health status of the elderly.
