Abstract

The AIDS prevention program in Indonesia has 4 pillars, namely prevention; Supportive Care and Treatment (PDP); impact mitigation in the form of psychosocio-economic support; as well as creating a conducive environment (Ministry of Health, 2015). The strong commitment of all elements in society that the HIV/AIDS epidemic is a joint responsibility of the government, non-government and the community to work hand in hand to suppress the spread of HIV/AIDS. Purpose: To provide psychological support to friends of key populations and PLHIV. Method: carried out by direct observation and interviews with the community in Tanjung Gusta with the stages namely preparation, assessment, alternative program planning, action plan formalization, implementation, evaluation. Results: Each team from Universitas Prima Indonesia has the ability as a facilitator in providing motivation to fellow PLHIV that they need psychological support for their current health condition (with HIV status). The Implementation Stage of Activities The participation of PLWHA friends who are involved in the management of the Tanjung Gusta Sub-District is expected to be able to run an activity program that can provide support to fellow PLHIV. The collaboration between the team from Prima Indonesia University and PLWHA friends and health service facilities has been going well so far. namely: Assistance and Outreach to Key Populations and PLHIV, Facilitating Access to Health Services, Health Talks (BBS), Social Services, PLHIV Home Visits, World AIDS Day (HAS).
