Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries increases beyond normal limits. Hypertension is one of the most influential risk factors as a cause of heart disease (cardiovascular). Approximately 10-30% of the adult population in almost all countries experience hypertension (Adib, 2009). The method used in the activity goes through a series of stages including counseling/education, training, and mentoring. The community was formed through several activities, namely: coordinating with RT administrators, hamlets, and community leaders providing light medical services for hypertensive patients, nutritional checks, personal hygiene, health education about palliative care for hypertensive patients, health education about nutrition and personal hygiene, Giving prizes to hypertension patients, Door prizes after counseling activities, Giving prizes to cadres.
