Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2009) reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not only free from disease or disability in all aspects related to the reproductive system functions and processes.Health problems that often occur in the reproductive system among developing countries like Indonesia, one of which is cancer, non-communicable diseases have increased due to changes in people's lifestyles such as consumption patterns that are more concerned with fatty foods, less fiber, and processed (such as preserved, salted and smoked). Cancer is a non-communicable disease that can attack tissues in various organs of the body, including the female reproductive organs which consist of the breast, uterus, ovaries and vagina. One of them is breast cancer is a malignant tumor which is the main cause of morbidity and mortality of women throughout the world in both developed and developing countries.BSE examination is the easiest and most effective method, but in reality there are still many women, especially young women, who do not know about their reproductive health, especially knowledge about breast cancer and BSE practice. health in the hope that it can change the knowledge and ability of young women to carry out breast self-examination to find out if there is a problem with their breasts, if this is not done it will have an impact on the failure of early detection of breast cancer.
