PELATIHAN TENTANG PERAWATAN PASIEN PENYAKIT GINJAL DI KELURAHAN TANJUNG GUSTA

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure (CKD) is a disease in which the patient's condition continues to decline until kidney damage continues, therefore routine kidney replacement treatment is needed (Riqi & Nurwidayanti, 2019). Chronic kidney failure requires treatment that can take over kidney function, one of which is hemodialysis. Hemodialysis is a treatment that is widely used by patients with kidney failure in Indonesia. Patients undergoing hemodialysis will experience feelings of fear, stress and are not ready to accept their situation (Muzaenah & Makiyah, 2018). The method used in activities is training. The community was formed through several activities, namely: coordinating with RT administrators, hamlets, and community leaders providing training on the care of patients with kidney failure, giving rewards to sufferers, giving door prizes after training activities, giving rewards to cadres. The results achieved after attending this training were how to do physical exercise for patients with kidney failure.
