Abstract

Hypertension is high blood pressure which is characterized by a systolic of 140 mmHg and a diastolic of 90 mmHg. Hypertension is also called "Silent Killer Disease" because it comes suddenly and does not show accurate symptoms (American Heart Association, 2017). The method used in the activity goes through a series of stages including counseling/education, training, and mentoring. The community was formed through several activities, namely: coordinating with RT administrators, hamlets, and community leaders providing light medical services for hypertensive patients, nutritional checks, personal hygiene, health education on Palliative Care for Hypertension Patients, health education on nutrition and personal hygiene, giving rewards to hypertensive patients, door prizes after training activities, giving rewards to cadres. In carrying out nurse service activities in the community all planning activities can be carried out properly and on time.
