PENYULUHAN PERAWATAN PALIATIF PADA PASIEN KANKER DI KELURAHAN SEI AGUL

Abstract

Palliative care is a way to improve the quality of life of patients and their families when facing a life-threatening illness by preventing, evaluating, reducing pain, physical, psychological and mental problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of life of cancer patients. The method used in a series of activities includes counseling/education. Providing material in the form of treatment, symptoms and treatment of cancer patients. The results achieved after participating in counseling and discussion of the Sei Agul Village community found an increase in the quality of life of cancer patients.
