Reaccreditation Process for Jurnal Prima Medika Sains

Dear Authors, Readers, and Partners,

We would like to inform you that Prima Medika Sains Journal (JPMS) is currently undergoing the reaccreditation process. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality and standards of scientific publications at JPMS.

Referring to the Notification of Scientific Journal Accreditation Status from the Arjuna Secretariat dated November 21, 2024, which follows up on Letter No. 0200/E5/DT.05.00/2024 dated February 26, 2024, and No. Manual.301/E5/DT.05.02/2024 dated August 6, 2024, regarding the Acceptance of Scientific Journal Accreditation Proposals, we hereby inform that in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 9 of 2018, if the Ministry has not yet issued the reaccreditation results, the previous accreditation status remains valid.

Change in Manuscript Publication Policy

We would like to inform all authors that starting from Volume 5 Issue 2, Jurnal Prima Medika Sains will only publish manuscripts in English. Authors are still allowed to submit articles in Indonesian, and the translation process will be conducted after the manuscript goes through the review process and is accepted. Translation costs will be imbued by the authors as an additional fee, separate from the publication fee. The predetermined fees can be found in the publication charge tab.

Authors are also permitted to use reputable translation agencies for translation services. Manuscripts that do not follow the writing guidelines/manuscript template will be returned and requested for revision.

Furthermore, it is mandatory for all authors to attach scanned copies of the author statement and ethical statement/ethical clearance at the submission stage (except for review article manuscripts). Without attaching both files, the manuscript will not be processed by the editorial team.
