Peer Review Process

After submission by the author, the editor will review its suitability with the focus and scope, as well as the template and writing guidelines. The editor also checks for plagiarism (similarity levels) using the Turnitin application. If the similarity score exceeds 25%, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision. This initial review process usually takes one to two weeks.

Manuscripts that pass the initial review will be forwarded to one or two reviewers for evaluation (double-blind review). Peer review typically takes around 3-8 weeks, depending on the outcome of the manuscript review.

There are five possible decisions from the editor and reviewers:

  1. Accept Submission
  2. Review Required
  3. Resubmit for Review
  4. Not Suitable, Publish in Another Journal
  5. Reject Submission
