The prevalence rate of adolescents who have had sexual intercourse in Poso Regency is 86.1% and some of them experience unwanted pregnancies. The purpose of this activity is to educate adolescents about the importance of preparing for the pre-conception period in an effort to improve the quality of future generations. The type of research used is quantitative with pre-experimental methods. The planning used is one group pre-test and post-test design. The total population in the study was 154 respondents. The number of samples is 34 respondents. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire and snakes and ladders media. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test with a significant α<0.05. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that the p value was 0.000 which was less than the significant value (p<0.05) indicating that reproductive health education using the snakes and ladders method increased knowledge about preconceptional preparation. Education with the snake and ladder method is very effective and must be implemented to students in increasing the preparation for the preconception period.
2025-04-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nilda Siregar; Sukaisi, Alfrianne https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/jumkep/article/view/6381 The Effect of Lemongrass, Ginger, Turmeric, and Javanese Ginger Mixture on Reducing Dysmenorrhea Pain 2025-03-18T02:20:02+00:00 Nadiva Oktavia nadivap9@gmail.com Ari Damayanti Wahyuningrum aridamayanti@gmail.com Rizqiana Dita Ekasari Ekasari@gmail.com
Dysmenorrhea is caused by hormonal imbalances that trigger lower abdominal pain, which may radiate to the suprapubic region, lower back, medial thighs, and perineum. Dysmenorrhea typically occurs 1–2 days before or during menstruation, causing disruptions in concentration and increased anxiety. Non-pharmacological management of dysmenorrhea with SJKT (Lemongrass, Ginger, Turmeric, Curcuma Xanthorrhiza) formulations, containing gingerol, shogaol, essential oils, flavonoids, polyphenols, and curcumin exerts analgesic effects that are effective in reducing pain. To analyze the effectiveness of SJKT formulations in reducing menstrual pain associated with dysmenorrhea. A true experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest control group design was employed. The intervention group received SJKT formulations, while the control group consumed young coconut water, 300 ml/day for 4 days. The Wilcoxon test for the intervention group yielded a p-value of 0.001, while the control group had a p-value of 0.157. The Mann-Whitney test produced a p-value of 0.022, showing a significant difference between the two groups, as the SJKT formulation is more effective in reducing dysmenorrhea pain compared to young coconut water. SJKT formulation effectively reduces dysmenorrhea pain. Further studies could involve larger samples for more comprehensive results.
2025-04-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nadiva Oktavia, Ari Damayanti Wahyuningrum, Rizqiana Dita Ekasari https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/jumkep/article/view/6536 The Effect Of Educational Videos On The Level Pregnant Women's Knowledge About Delivery By A Paragon In Kebadu Village 2025-03-11T02:30:28+00:00 Indrawasih - iinindrawasih5@gmail.com Siti Fadhilah sitifadilah@gmail.com Riska Ismawati riska@gmail.com
Complications from pregnancy or childbirth cause 287,000 women to die each year, mostly in low-income countries, where many deaths could be prevented by qualified health workers. The limit value and its difference with the condition of non-pregnant women is hemodilution, especially in the second trimester. Sulistyawati (2019). Anemia in pregnant women is generally caused by physiological changes during pregnancy and is influenced by malnutrition. The anemia that is often found in pregnancy is due to iron deficiency. This occurs because of the increased need for iron to supply the fetus and placenta, in order to enlarge tissue and red blood cell mass. The impact of anemia on pregnant women can cause obstacles to fetal growth, both body cells and brain cells, abortion, long labor due to lack of uterine thrust, bleeding, and infection (Septiyaningsih R, Indratmoko S, 2019). The population in this study were pregnant women with a total of 38 respondents who visited the Mardianum clinic, with the results obtained efforts to prevent anemia with compliance with taking FE tablets, 11 people who were not anemic were compliant, 29% and 4 people who were anemic were compliant, 10.5%, and based on non-compliance with taking FE tablets, 2 people who were not anemic were 5.2% and 21 people who were anemic 55.3%. With a P Value of 0.000, which means that there is a relationship between compliance with taking FE Tablets and the occurrence of anemia. Where it is expected that all pregnant women will be compliant in consuming FE tablets to prevent anemia.
2025-05-11T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Lili Nurmaliza, Enny Fitriani, Andilala -, Ruseni - https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/jumkep/article/view/6529 Management of Anemia in Pregnant Women with Non-Pharmacological Methods: Literature Review 2025-03-13T04:19:09+00:00 Rossa Amelinda Nurdiana rossaamelindanurdiana@gmail.com Arum Meiranny arummeiranny@unissula.ac.id
Pregnancy is a physiological process in a woman. A pregnant woman will
experience changes in her body system during pregnancy. Pregnant women will be
susceptible to anemia due to several things such as hemodilution and lack of iron
intake. Anemia is included in a global problem which in Indonesia itself has a
relatively high incidence rate, namely 48.9% in 2018, so an effective strategy is
needed to overcome this problem. The aim of this research is to determine the non-
pharmacological management of anemia in pregnancy. The method used was a
literature review of 10 research articles contained in computerized databases
(Google Scholar and Wiley) in the last 5 years using the keywords anemia, anemia
management, non-pharmacology and pregnancy. As a result, non-pharmacological
treatment of pregnancy with anemia can be done by consuming tomato herbal tea,
chayote, mung bean juice, vegetable juice combined with various other ingredients
such as spinach-lime-honey juice, dates, tempeh, and jackfruit seed milk, because
the high vitamin C and iron contained in it make it a good source of nutrients to
increase hemoglobin production and maintain body health. The conclusion is,
vitamin C and iron are an ideal combination of compounds to overcome anemia in
pregnant women, because iron helps the production of hemoglobin and vitamin C
increase iron absorption, thereby helping to overcome and prevent anemia and
improve the health of the mother and fetus
2025-04-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Rossa Amelinda Nurdiana https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/jumkep/article/view/6637 The Effect Of Processed Mackerel On Increasing The Weight Of Toddlers In Bogor And Cianjur Districts 2025-03-12T02:36:19+00:00 Regina Pratiwi fakhiraqaireen@gmail.com Fanni Hanifa Hanifa@gmail.com Hindayani Hindayani Hindayani@gmail.com Neti Oktianingsih Oktianingsih@gmail.com Asri Santika Santika@gmail.com Supriyatin Supriyatin Supriyatin@gmail.com Marina Notiasary Notiasary@gmail.com
According to WHO, malnutrition problems can be grouped into wasting, stunting, underweight, and micronutrient deficiencies. Low pregnancy preparation can result in pregnancy with complications, pregnancy with complications can increase morbidity and mortality for the mother and fetus. The National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) in 2020 also stated that the percentage of unwanted pregnancies in Indonesia in 2020 reached 17.5%, this occurred due to a lack of preparation before pregnancy and became one of the conditions that contributed to the Maternal Mortality Rate, recorded in 2020 which was 305 per 100,000 live births. The purpose of this literature is to find out how much knowledge the bride-to-be has about pregnancy preparation, especially knowledge about contraception. The search method is through Google Scholar and through a database in the form of PubMed, science direct, with inclusion criteria for publication years 2019 to 2024, discussing the knowledge of prospective brides about contraception and pregnancy, speaking Indonesian or foreign languages and using original research. Out of a total of 1,180 articles, 10 articles were selected to be used for scoping reviews. Each article from a different country discusses the knowledge of brides-to-be regarding contraception, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of brides-to-be regarding contraception gets a good category, even though the research is conducted in different countries.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Dini Renata
