Abstract

Family Planning (FP) is one of the most effective ways to improve family resilience, health, and safety of mothers, children and women. FP services include providing information, education and ways for families to plan when to have children, how many children, how many years apart in age between children, and when to stop having children. Contraceptive pills are highly effective if used regularly and the level of knowledge about pills The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the knowledge and attitudes of KB Acceptor mothers towards the use of contraceptive pills. The type of research used was descriptive, which aims to explain or describe the research problem. The sampling technique used was Accidental Sampling. The estimated large sample was 25 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The study was conducted by giving questionnaires to acceptors who visited in 2025. The analysis test used is descriptive. Data analysis using univariate analysis for frequency distribution. Results of the study: Showing that out of 25 respondents of contraceptive pill acceptors, most of the attitudes strongly agree 44.0%, most agree with a percentage of 48.0%, and most of the knowledge is good with a percentage of 68.0%. Conclusion: That the description of knowledge and attitudes towards the use of contraceptive pills means that the higher the level of knowledge, the level of attitude to use contraceptive pills is also better. Therefore, health workers should provide full education for contraceptive pill acceptors about the importance of information on the use of contraceptive pills and how to use them correctly and increase the role of health workers in facilitating and motivating contraceptive pill acceptors.
