Abstract

Live pharmacies are drugs that are used to treat a disease, but those derived from plants. In this way, what is meant by a live pharmacy is a type of medicinal plant that is grown around our homes. Traditional medicine is certainly believed to be an effective treatment, because apart from being able to treat the disease efficiently, it also does not cause side effects. Just imagine what if we had live pharmacy plants around our house, of course when a neighbor or one of our family is sick, we don't get confused about seeking treatment, because it can be done at home. Live pharmacies or medicinal plants, as well as ornamental plants. that is, apart from being used as medicine, it can also function as a decoration at home, because some medicinal plants also have flowers. Some plants can be used as medicinal plants, because they have natural ingredients that are used to cure various diseases. The method used in the activity goes through a series of stages including training and mentoring. The community was formed through a number of activities, namely: coordinating with RT administrators, hamlets, and community leaders providing training services on living pharmacy, giving rewards to the community, giving door prizes after training activities, giving rewards to cadres. The results achieved after participating in the training by the people of Bagan Deli Village, Medan Belawan District know how to plant a living pharmacy.
