A high degree of public health is a precondition for increasing the productivity of human resources. In this regard, to create quality human resources, of course there are many factors that must be considered, including food (nutrition), health, education, information, technology and other service factors. Of the many factors, nutrition plays the most important role. The age of 0-24 months is a period of rapid growth and development, so that it is often termed the golden period as well as the critical period. The golden period can be realized if at this time infants and toddlers receive appropriate nutritional intake for optimal growth and development. The purpose of this Service is to increase the knowledge of mothers about the benefits of breastfeeding in the first 1000 days of life. Methods offered To improve the nutritional status of children under five, counseling is conducted on the benefits of breastfeeding to mothers of toddlers. This community service activity is carried out in the form of counseling and providing information to mothers about the importance of breastfeeding and its benefits for the future of the child, especially in an effort to improve nutrition in the first 1000 days of life because in this case the golden period in children must pay more attention to nutrition, for that mothers who having a baby should provide breast milk to the child in addition to the many benefits it will provide to the child and the mother
