Rooming in means placing the baby in a room/room with the mother, even if it remains in a different bed, the distance of the mother and the baby becomes close together, allowing the mother to pay attention to the baby. The general purpose of this counseling is to assist the community / government in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates and lowering maternal and infant mortality rates. Methods used in activities through a series of stages include counseling/education, training, and mentoring. The community is formed through several activities, namely: coordination with RT administrators, teachers, and community leaders providing health services about combined care, providing health education about combined care, rewarding mothers, giving door prizes after maternal health care activities, rewarding cadres. The results achieved by this program start from data collection, deliberation with community leaders to determine how many mothers want to apply rooming in. Initially, the Midwife Service activities in the community with counseling about exclusive breast milk and nurses joined in Tanjung Gusta Village was rejected by some mothers to attend but with cooperation with midwives and cadres in the place finally this counseling can be done properly. Many expectant mothers come to the counseling and some even bring their babies. They are very enthusiastic about the benefits of caring for midwives about rooming in.
