Manuscript Submission Guidelines For Architrave Journal

  • Submitted articles must be based on research, including: research and community service articles, conference proceeding articles, final project reports, and other scholarly works related to phenomena in architecture and civil engineering.
  • The editorial board accepts manuscripts via email no later than the end of March for the May issue and the end of September for the November issue. Manuscripts must be submitted via email as an attachment to: jurnalja@unprimdn.com.
  • Articles must be written in Indonesian. Abstracts are required in both Indonesian and English. Articles must be written in essay format, with a title for each section or subsection, without numbering.
  • The article title must be centered in uppercase using Times New Roman, size 14, with a maximum of 10 words in Indonesian and 12 words in English. The heading hierarchy for sections and subsections (without numbering) is as follows:

SECTION HEADING: ALL CAPITALS, BOLD, LEFT-ALIGNED, TIMES NEW ROMAN, SIZE 12.

Subsection Heading 1 (Title Case, Bold, Left-Aligned, Times New Roman, Size 12)

Subsection Heading 2 (Title Case, Bold, Left-Aligned, Italic, Times New Roman, Size 11)

  • The author’s name must be written without academic titles and placed below the article title. If the article is co-authored, the editorial board will communicate only with the corresponding author or the first-listed author. An email address is MANDATORY as a requirement for online publication and to facilitate correspondence.
  • The structure of a research article is as follows: title; author’s name (without academic titles); abstract (100–150 words); keywords; introduction (encompassing background, literature review, and research objectives); methodology; results and discussion; conclusion; acknowledgements; references (citing only sources referenced within the text).
  • References should preferably be drawn from publications within the last 10 years. Priority is given to primary sources such as academic textbooks, research reports (including undergraduate theses, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations), and research articles published in academic journals and scientific periodicals.
  • In-text citations must follow the parenthetical referencing style, indicating the author’s surname, year of publication, and page number of the source, for example: (Ching, 2002:56).
  • Tables must be numbered sequentially and titled in accordance with their content, with the source of citation indicated. Table titles are placed above the table, and the source is placed below.
  • Figures (photographs, diagrams, charts, sketches) must be numbered sequentially and titled in accordance with their content, with the source of citation indicated. Figure titles and sources are placed below the figure.
  • The reference list must be arranged in alphabetical order.
