The research method is qualitative. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with community health center drug managers, IFK drug managers, and heads of the pharmacy and medical equipment sections of the Kerinci District Health Service. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive methods. The research results showed that in 2023 there were several empty medicines in the Pharmacy Installations and Community Health Centers within the scope of the Kerinci District Health Service. Furthermore, the planning process had been carried out by the Integrated Medicine Planning Team but, it was not yet optimal, the medicine procurement process had used the e-catalog method, and storage had not yet been completed. everything is alphabetical. Drug storage facilities and infrastructure were inadequate, the Pharmacy Installation room was found to be leaked, and there was an excessive accumulation of drug boxes at the Puskesmas. Drug distribution should be carried out by the Pharmaceutical Installation, not by the Puskesmas themselves. Recording and reporting are still manual, so there are often discrepancies between the amount of medicine on the stock card and the physical amount. Recording and reporting are still manual, so there are often discrepancies between the amount of the medicine on the stock card and the physical quantity. The general conclusion is that drug management at the Kerinci District Health Service Pharmacy Installation is still not running by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2016). The Kerinci District Health Service can realize plans to expand drug storage space, increase human resources, facilities, and infrastructure, and hold training programs, integrated drug management applications, and seminars on drug management for both Health Service pharmacy staff and at community health centers.
Rima Fitri Ermi Girsang Dewi Riastawaty Ismail Usman Copyright (c) 2025 HASIL SEMINAR NASIONAL UNPRI 2025-03-26 2025-03-26 1 2 Analysis Of The Relationship Between Environmental Health Factors And The Incidence Of Stunting In Toddlers In The Working Area Of Kersik Tuo Public Health Center, Kayu Aro District, Kerinci Regency https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/hasenf/article/view/6689
Environmental health from the aspect of poor sanitation and hygiene will trigger digestive disorders which impact nutrition for growth and turn into the body's resistance to infection, thereby risking stunting in toddlers. Streptozotocin works by damaging pancreatic beta cells, resulting in hyperglycemia. This chronic hyperglycemia can increase the production of free radicals. Moreover, streptozotocin can cause significant oxidative stress by damaging cellular DNA, lipids, and proteins. The excessive free radicals can deplete antioxidant reserves like SOD and GPx, as they are utilized to neutralize the free radicals. The aim of this study is to understand the role of SOD and GPx in reducing oxidative stress in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Spectrophotometric analysis was utilized to quantify SOD and GPx levels in rat tissues, providing insights into the extent of oxidative damage. The results revealed that while the levels of SOD showed no significant difference after streptozotocin induction, but there was a noticeable decrease in SOD levels. In contrast, GPx levels decreased significantly following induction. Antioxidant testing of pagoda flower extract through DPPH testing. Seeing the anti-aging activity of pagoda flower extract through differences in collagen density between the Control group without extract and treatment group 1 with 10% pagoda flower cream extract concentration, treatment 2 with 15% concentration, and treatment with 20% concentration of pagoda flower extract cream through DPPH testing obtained an IC50 value of 53.65 indicating strong antioxidant results. For the anti-aging activity of pagoda flower extract, the best collagen density area is group P3 and P2 because the collagen density is already very large and dense in the histopathological picture of skin tissue. The normality test uses Kolmogorov Smirnov with normally distributed data results p> 0.05. Then the homogeneity results using Levene's Test: the p-value is 0.675. This study aims to determine the antioxidant potential of red dragon fruit (RDF) to delay the occurrence of oxidative stress, which increases cell function in mitochondria in the gastrocnemius muscle. Methods. This study involved 25 three-month-old male rats with an average weight of 200 g. The RDF extract was obtained via ethanol extraction and concentrated using an air-drying method. Rats were randomly allocated into five groups as follows: two control groups (K1 [no-exercise, no RDF] and K2 [exercise, no RDF] and three test groups (P1, P2, and P3; subjected to exercise and treated with 75, 150, and 300 mg kg−1 body weight of RDF, respectively). The exercise was swimming for 20 min three times per week for 31 days. Cytochrome-C and MDA were measured via an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and histopathological examinations were performed via hematoxylin and eosin staining of rat muscles. Results. Compared the MDA levels after the ingestion of RDF extracts were between the K2 group and the P1, P2, and P3 groups. The results showed significant differences (p <0.05 for P1 and P2, and p <0.01 for P3), indicating the production of free radicals the occurrence of oxidative stress and cytochrome-c (Identified as an essential mediator in the apoptotic pathway, unlocking mitochondrial cytochrome-c into an apoptotic pathway), Cytochrome-C levels were compared between the K2 (16.1 ng/mg protein) group and the P1(13.5 ng/mg protein), P2 (10.6 ng/mg protein), and P3 (7.2 ng/mg protein) groups. The results showed significant differences (p < 0.05 for P1 and P2, and p <0.01 for P3). with features of damaged muscle cells based on histopathology. Ingestion of the RDF extract improved gastrocnemius muscle cells, resulting in cell function repair. Conclusion. Red dragon fruit (antioxidant) in exercise suppresses oxidative stress on cytochrome-C so that apoptotic signals occur significantly in muscles, can prevent the apoptotic process, reduce tissue damage, cause repair of cell function, and mitochondria can work usually. P3 group after being infected with bacteria amylase- lipase level 68.45U/L- 42.06U/L and after being given pagoda flower extract with a dose of 200mg/KgBB, the amylase-lipase level became 58.75U/L-22.71U/L. There was no necrosis for the histopathological picture of treatment group 3 (P3). However, there was still a little leukocyte infiltration in the pancreatic cells, so this treatment group got a score of 0 without necrosis of pancreatic cells. This study uses a qualitative method that is descriptive in nature with primary data collection obtained through in-depth interviews about the ISPA control program with the person in charge of the ISPA program. This study is included in cross-sectional research because the data was collected at a certain time and was retrospective, with the sample being mothers of toddlers in the Pelompek Health Center work area with a total of 100 people. The results of the study showed that the role of the Pelompek Health Center in ten ISPA control programs for toddlers that ran optimally was only three programs, namely the availability of logistics, recording reporting, and network partnerships. In this case, the health center has limitations in running programs that cannot be run properly.
Dewi Riastawaty Ferry Eka Wandra Ermi Girsang Chrismis Novalinda Ginting Copyright (c) 2025 HASIL SEMINAR NASIONAL UNPRI 2025-03-25 2025-03-25 1 2 Tace To The Rescue: A Systematic Literature Review of Its Role in Battling Various Liver Metastases https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/hasenf/article/view/6750
Liver metastasis, commonly originating from primary tumors such as colorectal, gastrointestinal, breast, and neuroendocrine malignancies, poses a significant treatment challenge. Patients with unresectable liver metastases are increasingly receiving transarterial chemotherapy (TACE) as a locoregional treatment. This systematic review evaluates the clinical outcomes, safety, and effectiveness of TACE in treating liver metastases across various cancer types. A systematic search of PubMed, PMC, and the Cochrane Library from January 2019 to December 2024 identified 848 articles. After removing 559 duplicates and excluding 167 abstracts, 122 full-text articles were assessed for eligibility. Exclusions included 30 case reports, 1 animal study, 3 non-English articles, 10 systematic reviews or meta-analyses, 2 pictorial reviews, 32 articles without available full text, 13 with no reported outcomes, and 2 retracted articles. The final analysis included 29 trials with 3,652 participants. Eight studies provided comparative data, while the rest were retrospective. The data suggest that TACE offers promising tumor control and may improve survival, but its effectiveness is influenced by factors like tumor burden, vascularization, and the underlying malignancy. Differences in treatment protocols, including chemotherapeutic agents and embolization materials, also affect outcomes. While TACE is generally well-tolerated, adverse effects such as liver function impairment and post-embolization syndrome have been observed. The review emphasizes the need for more randomized controlled trials and standardized treatment guidelines to better define TACE’s role in managing liver metastases.
Putu Patriawan Copyright (c) 2025 HASIL SEMINAR NASIONAL UNPRI 2025-03-25 2025-03-25 1 2 The Effect of Family Functionality and Social Support on Hemodialysis Patient's Quality of Life Among CKD Patients with Hypertension and Diabetes in Royal Prima Hospital https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/hasenf/article/view/6751
Hemodialysis, which involves regular visits to the hospital, increases the risk of social disability, where lack of social support contributes to mental and emotional problems experienced by patients undergoing hemodialysis. This study aims to determine the effect of social support and family functionality on the quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. This study involved 42 patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis at the Hemodialysis Unit of Royal Prima Medan Hospital, selected by incidental technique. Primary data in this study were collected using the Kidney Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and Family APGAR, while secondary data were sourced from patients' medical records. Data were analyzed using binomial logistic regression. This study found that 78.5% of respondents had hypertension, 40.5% had diabetes mellitus, and 31% had both. In addition, most respondents had low levels of social support (38.1%) but had highly functional families (47.6%). Logistic regression analysis found that social support was the only factor affecting the quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis (p<0.001; OR: 13.355). It can be concluded that adequate social support benefits the quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients undergoing routine hemodialysis, so promoting a positive social environment that supports hemodialysis patients is necessary.
Efratiwi Marpaung Ali Napiah Nasution Linda Chiuman Copyright (c) 2025 HASIL SEMINAR NASIONAL UNPRI 2025-03-25 2025-03-25 1 2
