The object of study is five news articles from national online media, Kompas.com, Tempo.co, Merdeka.com, Detik.com, and Metrotvnews.com, that raised the case of rape by students of the Padjadjaran University specialist doctor education program (PPDS). The method used is descriptive qualitative with critical discourse text analysis techniques, including exclusion and inclusion strategies, such as passivation, nominalization, objectivation, identification, and assimilation. The results showed that in most news, the perpetrators were described explicitly by mentioning their social status and institutional affiliation. At the same time, the victims were often presented vaguely and subordinated in the sentence structure. This finding shows that the media has not fully sided with the perspective of victims, so the news has the potential to influence public perceptions of victims of sexual violence negatively. The implications of this research are recommended as teaching materials for news texts in Indonesian language learning at the high school level to form media literacy and students' critical perspectives on the issue of sexual violence.</p> Neneng Hartini, Agus Hamdani Copyright (c) 2025 Neneng Hartini, Agus Hamdani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/BIP/article/view/6776 Sun, 30 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of Inclusive Learning Through Letter and Reading Recognition: A Case Study at SDN Wonokusumo IV/43 via YouTube https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/BIP/article/view/6314 <p>This study examines inclusive learning practices by introducing writing and reading activities using YouTube video media in inclusive classes at SDN Wonokusumo IV/43. utilizing YouTube video media in inclusive classrooms at SDN Wonokusumo IV/43 Surabaya. The analysis focuses on Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis model, which includes three dimensions: microstructure, mesostructure, and macrostructure. This research method is descriptive qualitative, with documentation as the primary data collection technique. The microstructure analysis showed that the media used confident diction choices and syntactic structures to build the image of the perpetrators and victims, such as the use of the words "smoked alcohol" and "raped in turns," which caused specific emotional effects. Microstructural analysis shows the influence of media institutional background, editorial objectives, and the writing style of each media on the form of news presentation. Meanwhile, macrostructural analysis reveals that the news cannot be separated from the influence of patriarchal culture, the legal system, and social values that develop in society. All three show that the mass media convey information and shape an event's social construction by carrying specific ideological interests.</p> Dini Windarini Windarini, Agus Hamdani Hamdani Copyright (c) 2025 Dini Windarini Windarini, Agus Hamdani Hamdani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unprimdn.ac.id/index.php/BIP/article/view/6775 Sun, 30 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000
