Produktivitas Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Pada Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit

Abstract
Indonesia merupakan produsen kelapa sawit terbesar dan luas lahan sawit yang dimiliki Indonesia saat ini merupakan yang terluas di dunia. Namun dibandingkan dengan luas lahan yang ada, produktivitas yang dihasilkan masih tergolong rendah. Dari data Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan tahun 2011 dapat dilihat bahwa produktivitas per Ha TBS Tahun 2010 adalah 19.844.901 ton / 7.824.623 ha sebesar 2,54 ton / ha / tahun. Hasil tahun 2011 tersebut jauh dari rekomendasi PPKS 25,93 ton / ha / tahun.
Tingkat produktivitas tanaman kelapa sawit Indonesia bervariasi menurut jenis kepemilikan. Menurut Departemen Pertanian, pada umumnya tingkat produktivitas perkebunan rakyat (PR) paling rendah dibandingkan perkebunan negara (PBN) dan perkebunan swasta (PBS). Diperkirakan produktivitas perkebunan rakyat hanya mencapai rata-rata 2,5 ton CPO per hektar dan 0,33 ton minyak inti sawit (PKO) hal ini disebabkan kurangnya perawatan perkebunan tersebut. Sementara itu, perkebunan negara memiliki produktivitas tertinggi yang mampu menghasilkan rata-rata sekitar 4,82 ton CPO per hektar dan 0,91 ton PKO per hektar. Sedangkan untuk perkebunan swasta rata-rata menghasilkan 3,48 ton CPO per hektar dan 0,57 ton PKO per hektar.
