ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHATANI BAWANG MERAH DI DESA CINTA DAME KECAMATAN SIMANINDO KABUPATEN SAMOSIR PROPINSI SUMATERA UTARA

Abstract
Bawang merah (Allium ascanolicum L.) merupakan bahan sayuran untuk bumbu dan rempah-rempah yang mengandung gizi tinggi dan komposisinya lengkap sehingga sangat cocok dikembangkan untuk memenuhii kebutuhan bumbu dan rempah-rempah pada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pendapatan dan kelayakan usahatani bawang merah di daerah penelitian.
Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Cinta Dame Kecamatan Simanindo, Kabupaten Samosir Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 orang petani bawang merah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan usahatani bawang merah sebesar Rp. 44.967.500,00/petani/mt. Nilai RCR (Revenue Cost Ratio) usahatani bawang merah di daerah penelitian adalah sebesar 2,57. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa RCR lebih besar dari satu sehingga usahatani bawang merah tersebut layak diusahakan (menguntungkan secara ekonomi).
