Pemanfaatan e-Commerce Dalam Optimalisasi Penjualan pada UMKM Keripik Sambal Sidempuan Al Fatih

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu kelompok UMKM khususnya pelaku usaha UMKM yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memasarkan produknya. Selama ini pelaku UMKM Keripik Pedas Khas Sidempuan – Al-Fatih menggunakan sistem pemasaran secara tradisional dimana pelaku UMKM hanya mengandalkan kunjungan pembeli yang datang ke tempat berdagang untuk membeli produk khas yang ditawarkan. Selain metode pemasaran yang masih tradisional, pelaku usaha UMKM juga masih kurang dalam hal literasi teknologi informasi khususnya literasi penggunaan media digital sebagai alternatif pemasaran yang kian berkembang pesat. Selain permasalahan di atas, pelaku usaha UMKM juga belum maksimal dalam melakukan inovasi produk. Mengingat permasalahan-permasalahan di atas, Tim Pengabdian berupaya membantu mengatasi permasalahan di atas dengan memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan tentang manfaat penggunaan aplikasi e-commerce dalam pemasaran produk dan membantu pembuatan toko online pada aplikasi e-commerce yakni Shopee. Pemasaran produk dengan e-commerce diharapkan dapat membantu pelaku UMKM mengoptimalkan perkembangan media digital dalam rangka peningkatan penjualan produknya.
