Abstract

The service industry, including barbershops, faces challenges in adapting to consumer preferences that are increasingly dependent on technology. This study aims to design a Fathan Barbershop mobile application with a User Centered Design approach to improve user experience and service efficiency. This method emphasizes a deep understanding of user needs through the empathy phase, clear problem formulation, creative solution ideation, prototyping, and iterative testing. The results of this study are expected to produce a user-friendly application and provide solutions to user problems, such as difficulty in ordering and time management. This study is expected to provide insight into the application of User Centered Design in application development in the barbershop service industry..
