Abstract

Blood glucose is a sugar found in the blood that is formed from carbohydrates in food and stored as glycogen in the heart and skeletal muscle (Umami, 2013). Blood sugar levels are the amount of glucose content in the blood plasma. Factors that can affect blood glucose levels include, increasing the amount of food consumed, increased stress and emotional factors, weight gain and age, and exercise. Methods used in activities through a series of stages include counseling / education, training, and mentoring. Blood glucose measurements are often carried out to monitor the success of this regulatory mechanism. The results of the development of activities that have been achieved are:1). Prevention of diabetes mellitus (DM) disease in the community. 2). Health Development of Blood Sugar Levels (KGD), 3). Blood Sugar Level Examination (KGD) conducted in the community.4). Increased Knowledge of Blood Sugar Levels (KGD) in the community.
