Abstract

This study aims to analyze or determine the chemical properties of oil palm plantations, findout soil sampling in the flield,determine the chemical properties of soil in Mucuna Brcteata on TBM (Immature Plant) and TM (Producing Plant). at PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk Unit Sei Merah Estate. The results showed that at PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk Unit Sei Merah Estate, soil sampling techniques on TBM (Immature Plant) and TM (Producing Plant) as many as 5 samples that each of the sample weight of 2 kg. Each of soil sample was taken at 9 points. Study of soil chemical properties covering soil pH on TBM around (5,12-5,5) is classified as low TM  ranges (5,08) classified as low. The situation of KTK (Cation Exchange Capacity) on TBM ranges (32,31-40,00) is classified as high, TM  (36.22) is classified as high. The state of C-Organic soil in the TBM ranges (6.05-7.22) is classified as very high and in TM ranges (5.52). classified as very high. The state of N-Total soil in the TBM ranges (0.08-0.14) is classified as low and in TM ranges (0.10) classified as low. P-Bray II in TBM (15,39-2,66) is classified as moderate TM range (19.19) classified as moderate.
