ETNOZOOLOGI MASYARAKAT DESA BERUAS DAN DESA PUPUT KABUPATEN BANGKA TENGAH

Abstract
Pemanfaatan satwa liar banyak dilakukan oleh masyarakat, salah satunya adalah masyarakat Desa Beruas dan Desa Puput yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Simpang Katis, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifiksi jenis satwa liar yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Desa Beruas dan Desa Puput dan bagaimana bentuk pemanfaatnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November hingga bulan Desember 2021 di Desa Beruas dan Desa Puput Kecamatan Simpang Katis, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah snowball sampling yang meliputi survei pendahuluan dan penentuan informan, kemudian pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 10 jenis hewan yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat dan terbagi dalam 7 kelas yaitu Malacostrata (1 jenis), Insecta (1 jenis), Amfibi (1 jenis), Reptil (3 jenis), Pisces (2 jenis), Clitellata (1 jenis) dan Mammalia (1 jenis). Dari segi pemafaatannya terbagi dalam 5 kategori pemanfaatan yaitu : hewan sebagai bahan obat (10), hewan untuk konsumsi (3), untuk hiasan (1), hewan peliharaan (6) dan jual beli (5)
